Conference Vision

This conference presents a unique multidisciplinary, public/private learning opportunity on the border of Mexico. Local experts join national and international guest speakers in immigration law, investigation of crimes against children, human services, child sex trafficking, juvenile justice, and child welfare.  Our primarily Latino community has its own methods, often innovative, of engaging and empowering youth and partnering to keep children and families safe. For professionals across the country learning about how to best serve their growing Latino communities, this conference is an excellent introduction to this unique culture. For locals, this is an amazing opportunity to learn from peers and broaden perspectives on our work with families and youth on both sides of the border.
