Social Justice Tour

The Social Justice Tour is a post-conference walking tour of Downtown and South El Paso. These particular areas hold a rich history of El Paso’s humble beginnings and showcase the deep roots of our Mexican/American culture along the border. 

Tour sites will include: Chihuahuita and Durangito neighborhoods, local murals, base of Paso del Norte Bridge, border wall, Parroquia del Sagrado Corazon (Sacred Heart Parish), Centro de Salud Familiar La Fe, Farmworkers Center, and more. 
Tour will be from 5:30 – 8:30pm, and route will begin from the Judson F. Williams Convention Center. Distance will cover about 2 miles of El Paso within the Downtown area. 

Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing. An umbrella will be provided to reduce sun exposure.
