For 107 years, our campus has been a place where lives are changed, relationships are strengthened, and our mission comes to life every day. Through counseling and life skills programs, early childhood services, youth outreach and housing, Family Resource Center programs, and services for victims of crime, El Paso Center for Children helps individuals and families navigate adversity and move toward brighter futures.
To ensure future generations can continue receiving these services, we are launching the Legacy Campaign, an initiative to strengthen and preserve our campus through critical infrastructure improvements.
Campaign Goal: $350,000
Legacy Campaign Priorities
Our campus faces several immediate and growing needs, including aging roofs, aging HVAC systems, rising maintenance costs, opportunities to conserve water, and increasing community demand.
Protection Starts Here
Just as an umbrella protects a family from the elements, our roofs protect the children and families who rely on El Paso Center for Children every day.
Roofing improvements will help:
- Protect facilities from weather damage
- Prevent water intrusion
- Preserve counseling, shelter, education, and program spaces
- Extend the life of our buildings
- Reduce future repair costs
- Help services continue without interruption
Protecting Resources for Future Generations
Water-wise landscaping will help El Paso Center for Children responsibly steward its resources while creating beautiful, welcoming, and restorative outdoor spaces.
These improvements will help:
- Reduce water consumption
- Lower ongoing maintenance costs
- Improve campus sustainability
- Enhance the appearance of our grounds
- Create spaces for connection and healing
- Direct more resources toward services for children and families

Reliable heating and cooling systems help create safe, welcoming spaces for children, families, visitors, and staff. Comfortable environments allow those seeking support to focus on healing, growth, and opportunity.
HVAC improvements will provide:
- More reliable heating and cooling
- Better indoor air quality
- Greater energy efficiency
- Reduced operating and maintenance costs

Access to Help Should Be Easy
Every parking space represents someone seeking support. Families arriving at the Center deserve an experience that feels safe, accessible, and welcoming from the moment they reach our campus.
Parking and accessibility improvements will provide:
- Increased parking availability
- Improved accessibility
- Safer pedestrian access
- Better traffic flow
- A more welcoming visitor experience
- Direct access to multiple program offices, including programs serving youth experiencing homelessness
Become a Community Protector
Recognition opportunities may include:
- Campaign webpage and website recognition
